Superkombat World Grand Prix to bring foreigners to Romanian seaside this weekend

Romania’s seaside resort Constanta will host the third Superkombat World Grand Prix of the year on June 21. This will bring fighters from across the world to the Romanian seaside city.

During the event organized at the Sports Hall in the city, Romanian Andrei Stoica will put his Superkombat Super Cruiserweight Title in line, in a fight against Turkish Ali Cenik. Stoica became champion in December 2013 after he caused Ondrej Hutnik’s first defeat after five years.

The event will be organized in partnership with the Romanian Riviera Tourism Board and will aim to attract foreign tourists at the Romanian seaside, according to a statement posted on Superkombat.com.

The evening of June 21st classic tournament will also include a four-man tournament for the Cruiserweight Division, where Romanian Cristian Ristea will encounter in the first semifinal Spain’s Moises Baute. Tickets for this event cost RON 30.

The main card will be broadcasted live by Sport.ro in Romania, from 22,00 EEST (Local Time) to 1,00 EEST (Local Time) and Eurosport, from 21,00 CEST (Central European Summer Time) to 24,00 CEST (Central European Summer Time), according to the statement.
