S Immo takes over Expo Business Park in Bucharest in one of the biggest deals this year

Austrian developer S Immo, which already owns the shopping mall Sun Plaza in Bucharest, has reached an agreement to buy the Expo Business Park in the northern part of the city from Portland Trust.

The completion of the transaction is estimated for this quarter, data analyzed by Profit.ro show.

Expo Business Park complex, one of the first projects in the neighborhood known as Expozitiei that later turned into a hotspot on the real estate map of Bucharest, was completed by the Portland Trust in the summer of 2019. It consists of three buildings, with an area of ​​about 40,000 square meters.

The underground car parking lot can accommodate 600 cars. Among the tenants are MagnaPharm Marketing & Sales Romania (former A&D Pharma), Deutsche Leasing, Mars, Omega Pharma, Regus / Spaces, Royal Canin and World Class. Building 3, with an area of ​​18,000 square meters, is fully leased, in the long term, to ING Bank, which has its headquarters there.
