Low-cost airline Ryanair has cancelled all flights between Bucharest and Palermo from November. It is the only flight from and to Romania suspended by Ryanair this winter.

The company has cancelled tens of thousands of flights worldwide during this period. It invoked delays and the lack of pilots who could operate all the flights.

Ryanair announced yesterday that it would cancel another 18,000 flights on 34 routes between November and March. The decision will affect some 400,000 passengers. People will be able to choose an alternative flight or have the money reimbursed.

Ryanair operates several international flights from Romania to Italy, Greece, Germany, Great Britain and Ireland, as well as domestic flights.
