Romania’s Tarom appoints new president of the board

Romanian state-owned airline Tarom appointed Gabriel Dumitrascu, head of the privatization division with the Energy Department, as president of the board, replacing Dante Stein, local Wall-street.ro reports.

Dumitrascu is also member of the board of CN Aeroporturi Bucuresti, the company which manages the Romanian capital’s two airports.

In May, the Transport Ministry decided to change four out of the six members of Tarom’s board of directors. The replaced members were Manuel Donescu, Florin Luca, Constantin Sebesanu and Ovidiu-Petrisor Artopolescu.

Besides Dumitrascu, the company’s board includes Dante Stein, Razvan Filipescu, Iulian Matache, Radu Mihai Fleanta, Toma-Dorin Cimpeanu and Dan Valeriu Andrei.
