Romanian company Dacris, which is the leader on the local office and stationery market, has taken over the Timisoara-based firm Echo Plus, specialized in phone sales.

Echo Plus had a turnover of some EUR 3 million last year. The deal was completed in mid-August.

Dacris recorded a turnover of EUR 20.8 million last year, up 15% compared to 2014. The local stationery market is estimated at EUR 250 million.

Dan Fati, who is one of the company’s shareholders, said that Dacris is constantly interested in new acquisitions that could strengthen its market share.
