Romanian President Iohannis starts three-day visit to Poland

Romanian President Klaus Iohannis, whose three-day visit to Poland starts Thursday, March 12, said that Romania’s relationship with Poland is a priority, as the two countries have a strategic partnership.

The two countries’ officials will look at cooperation projects within the EU and NATO, which stress the regional collaboration, as well as talk about security and the situation in Ukraine.

He will today meet the Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski, followed by a meeting with the President of the Polish Parliament Radoslaw Sikorski. Tomorrow morning, Iohannis will meet the Polish Prime Minister Ewa Kopac.
