The Romanian Lottery awarded over 3 million prizes in the first eight months of 2014, with a total value of some EUR 52.2 million.

In August, the lottery awarded over 529,000 winnings which totalled over EUR 10.5 million.

Almost 128,000 prizes were given at the Loto 6/49 game, with a total value of over EUR 1.8 million, while over 276,000 winnings were given at Videoloterie, with a value of more than EUR 7.1 million. Total prizes of EUR 500,000 were awarded at Noroc game and EUR 483,000 at Joker.

Last year, the Romanian Lottery awarded a total of 6.6 million prizes, with a value of over RON 615 million (or some EUR 140 million).
