Romanian library opens in Vienna

The Romanian Cultural Institute ICR will open its library in Vienna this weekend. The inauguration will take place at the institute’s headquarters in the Austrian capital on August 30, the Romanian Language Day.

The ICR Library in Vienna will comprise 11,000 books, of which 500 were donated by Polirom publishing house. The collection includes books in Romanian and translations in German and French, fiction and non-fiction, art albums, dictionaries, travel guides and children’s books.

The library and the reading room will stay open daily, from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 and 17:00.
