Romanian private healthcare provider Gral Medical exceeded the initial estimations for the first five months of 2014, and the upward trend in June has led to an increase in turnover in the first half of the year, according to the company.

The company’s turnover in the first six months amounts to over RON 47 million (EUR 11.4 million), up 18 percent year-on-year. The most significant increases in revenue were recorded in the oncology segment, where Gral Medical saw a growth of nearly 35 percent, followed by the laboratory division - up over 17 percent.

Gral Medical is one of the largest healthcare providers in Romania, with a medical team of some 1,200 doctors and nurses.
