Romanian Economy Minister seeks financing in China for several projects at home

The Romanian Minister of Economy Constantin Nita met yesterday in China the vice-president of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and the president of China Eximbank, in order to get financing for several infrastructure projects in Romania.

According to a statement of the Ministry, the Romanian official received “positive signs” from the two banking institutions, reports local Mediafax.

The projects for which Constantin Nita is seeking financing are the reactors 3 and 4 at Cernavoda, the Tarnita-Lapustesti hydropower plant, the Rovinari thermal power plant, the Pitesti-Craiova highway, the Bucharest-Constanta high speed railway, and some technologic parks.
