Romanian company Omnilogic becomes regional distributor for Chinese ZTE products

Romanian group Omnilogic, one of the largest IT&C distributors on the local market, became regional distributor for telecom equipment produced by Chinese ZTE Corporation.

Omnilogic will distribute ZTE equipment in Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria and Moldova, the company announced.

ZTE produces equipment for fixed and mobile telecommunication networks, including new generation voice and data networks. The Chinese group is also the fourth largest producer of mobile phones in the world.

ZTE recently opened a service center in Romania, in Timisoara, which monitors the telecom networks in 23 countries. This center is operational and has about 250 employees.

Omnilogic, which had EUR 36 million sales in 2013, benefited from several important project funded by the state, including one for the development of the eRomania portal for almost EUR 12 million.
