Retailer Mega Image opened four new stores in Bucharest and one in Constanta last week, reaching 375 units. The four stores in Bucharest will have a total area of 860 sqm, while the location in Constanta will have a 320 sqm sales area, reports local Wall-street.ro.

Founded in 1995, Mega Image is the largest supermarket chain in Romania with a network of 375 stores in Bucharest, Constanta, Ploiesti, Pitesti, Brasov, Targoviste and other cities under the Mega Image (181), Shop & Go (192) AB COOL FOOD (1) and Mega Drive (1) brands.

Mega Image posted a EUR 12.5 million profit and EUR 530 million turnover in 2013.
