PayPoint ups turnover, profit in Romania
The local subsidiary of the British payment operator PayPoint recorded a net profit of over EUR 3 million in 2015, up 14% over the previous year.
The company also saw a turnover of EUR 42.3 million, according to data available on the Finance Ministry’s website, cited by local Ziarul Financiar. The revenues increased by 12% year-on-year.
About 125 people worked for the British payment operator in Romania last year.
The company is specialized in cash payment operations and electronic charge through retail points. Its services are available in supermarkets and mixed stores across the country.
