A panoramic map of Romania’s Corvinilor Castle will be presented this weekend at the first edition of the European Castle Fair, which takes place in Hunedoara. The event will gather 21 representatives of historical monuments in Europe.

The project will be inaugurated on May 1, the first day of the cultural event.

“This artistic project was designed by Romanian Adrian Samoila, in collaboration with Corvinilor Castle and Hunedoara City Hall. It required six months of research and work,” said Silke Oprean, Hunedoara City Hall spokesman, cited by local Agerpres.

For this map, the Romanian artists used conventional techniques, ink graphics, 3D designing and digital coloring.

Romania’s Corvinilor Castle will also be on the cover of Lonely Planet’s travel guide for Romania and Bulgaria.
