Over 5,000 applications submitted in the Green House (Casa Verde) program, stuck in 2011, will receive funding of over RON 30.5 million (some EUR 7 million), after the contracts were signed, reports local Mediafax. Other nearly 12,000 applications were also accepted and some 2,600 are still to be analyzed.

The Environment Ministry, via the Environmental Fund Administration, so far analyzed over 21,200 applications in the Green House program, out of a total of 23,938 applications. The rest of over 2,500 files will be analyzed by the end of this year, according to the Ministry. Of the 21,293 applications analyzed so far, over 16,900 were accepted, the rest being rejected.
