Over 170 bikers compete in Romanian race with salt mine finish

Over 170 cyclists across Romania participated in a competition organized in Targu Ocna, in the Bacau county.

The 15-km route of the competition didn’t include only roads and forest tracks, but also the Trotus salt mine located at a depth of 240 meters, reports local Digi24.

The competition started in front of the City Hall, continued on the city’s streets and then reached the salt mine in the city.

Romanian Ilies Ferentz, 35, was the winner of the race.
