Orange Romania has appointed Romanian-French Adela Guédon as the new chief financial officer (CFO).

Guédon will take over the office on May 1 replacing Diego Martinez Lopez who will occupy the same position within Orange Spain.

Guédon started her career in Orange Romania in 1997. She began as Junior Accountant but rapidly went up to Corporate Finance Director, becoming the youngest member of the company’s executive board. In 2007, Guédon became CFO of Orange Moldova and after a few years she became Controller of Orange’s European division.

Orange Romania announced several other top management moves recently. The company’s CEO, Jean-Francois Fallacher will move to Poland and be replaced by Liudmila Climoc, the CEO of Orange Moldova. Julien Ducarroz, Orange Romania’s Chief Commercial Officer, will move to Chisinau as CEO of Orange Moldova.

Orange Romania is the biggest mobile carrier in Romania, serving 10.2 million customers. The company had revenues of EUR 947 million at the end of 2015.
