The Government will discuss this week the draft project that allows operators to install telecom networks on the state’s properties without additional costs, said Communication Minister Marius Raul Bostan.

This bill would allow telecom operators to reduce the costs of implementing new generation networks by 20-30%, the Minister added, reports local Profit.ro.

“This draft project should have been adopted three years ago.”

According to the bill, central or local authorities can’t establish taxes or fees for the telecom companies that use public properties to install networks.
