Online food delivery service targets corporate employees in Romania

Online food delivery platform foodpanda.ro will approach the corporate segment in Romania, with special menus for employees.

In the beginning, the company will target the employees of leading firms in Bucharest but plans to take this service to other large cities in Romania as well, according to Radu Balaceanu, Country Manager foodpanda Romania.

The employees will have access to special menus on foodpanda.ro, up to 50% cheaper, according to a statement of the company. Corporate users will have to create a special account on foodpanda.ro. After signing in, they can choose from several dishes from more than 10 restaurants.

Foodpanda will start the new project at the end of January. At first, the service will be available for employees working in companies located around Unirii Square, in downtown Bucharest, and Preciziei area, in the western part of the city.

Based on results and feedback, foodpanda plans to expand the project to other areas in Bucharest, and other major cities in Romania, such as Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Iasi, Constanta and Brasov.

Foodpanda currently works with over 350 restaurants in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Iasi, Brasov, Constanta, Arad, Ploiesti, Oradea, Galati and Sibiu.

Foodpanda, along with affiliated brands hellofood and Delivery Club, are among the largest online food delivery platforms in the world. They operate in more than 40 countries.
