Mega Image opens its first store in Romania this year
The Belgian retailer Mega Image announced yesterday that it would open its first store this year.
The store will be located in Popesti-Leordeni, in the Ilfov county and will cover some 653 sqm.
The company thus reached a network of 472 units in Romania. The retailer had a turnover estimated at over EUR 650 million last year.
According to the study “How Active are Retailers Globally” published by CBRE last year, Romania ranked 22nd among 60 countries based on the retail activity. The country thus surpasses countries such as Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.
