Life insurer NN Asigurari de Viata, which was previously called ING Asigurari de Viata, underwrote gross premiums of EUR 103.6 million in the first nine months of the year, slightly up compared to the same period in 2014.

The company recorded a gross profit of EUR 4.3 million, down 23% year-on-year.

The total assets managed by NN Asigurari de Viata rose to EUR 668 million, at the end of September, up by 8% compared to September 2014.

The company paid the insured indemnities of EUR 5.2 million for the insured events in the first six months of the year, up by 16% compared to the same period last year. NN also repaid the customers whose policies came to the end of the contractual period some EUR 16.8 million.
