With capitalism mired in a deep crisis, these questions become relevant once again.

The Rasnov citadel has been re-opened after a year of renovation works, although the revamping was not entirely finalized. Tracks have been secured within the citadel, which will be opened for public for free during August. During September, the price of an entry ticket will be of RON 10 for adults and RON 5 for kids.

The feature length movie “Wedding in Basarabia”, directed by Nap Toader (Napoleon Helmis) has been selected for the Montreal World Film Festival, which will take place between August 26 and September 6. The comedy, a Romania – Republic of Moldova – Luxembourg co-production, will be featured in the Focus on World Cinema section.
