Household spending accounts for 84% of the revenues in Romania
Household spending amounted to almost RON 2,800 (EUR 611.6) in Romania in the second quarter of this year. It reached RON 1,000 (EUR 218.4) per person and accounted for 84% of a household’s total revenues, according to data the National Statistics Institute (INS) published on Friday.
The average monthly income totaled RON 3,329 (EUR 727.2) per household during this period, or RON 1,264 (EUR 276.1) per person. The money income reached RON 3,011 (EUR 657.7) per household whereas the in-kind incomes amounted to RON 319 (EUR 69.6) per month.
Wages represented the most important income sources. They generated 61.2% of the local households’ total revenues.
