The total value of household loans granted by non-banking financial institutions - IFNs reached over RON 4.99 billion (EUR 1.1 billion) at the end of September 2015, down by 12.8% compared to the same month in 2014.

The consumer loans had the biggest share, reaching RON 4.47 (EUR 1 billion). They went down by 8.1% compared to September 2014, reports local Economica.net.

The consumer credits in lei represented RON 4.05 billion (EUR 904 million) whereas the loans in euro were EUR 93 million.

The other credits totaled EUR 78.1 million, down 7.4% year-on-year. The house loans reached EUR 38.1 million. The loans granted by non-banking financial institutions to local companies went down by 31% compared to September 2014, to RON 16.1 billion (EUR 3.58 billion).

The assets of the non-banking financial institutions were some EUR 6.9 billion in September 2015, down by less than 1% compared to the same month in 2014.
