Norwegian gym network to enter Romanian market

Norwegian gym network Hitio Gym ponders entering the Romanian market in a franchise system.

The company is interested in cities with more than 50,000 inhabitants. It will award the franchise contract for ten years, with a tax ranging between EUR 21,000 and EUR 130,000, reports local Profit.ro.

Hitio Gym has 31 centers in Norway, but plans to reach 40 sports halls in Norway and Sweden by the end of the year. The company wants to enter the large European markets by the end of 2019, including Romania.

Hitio Gym was founded in 1998 and started with small taekwondo martial arts centers. It has later developed a concept mixing martial arts and a gym concept.
