This year’s edition of Comedy Cluj International Film Festival will bring some 200 films to Romania’s Cluj-Napoca between October 16 and October 25. Half of the movies to be screened during the festival are independent films.

The jury consists of actress Kate O’Toole (famous actor Peter O'Toole's daughter), screenwriter Allegra Huston, film critic James Evans, journalist Neil Young, all four from the UK, and Romanian actor Dorian Boguta.

The screenings will take place in several places in the city, namely Florin Piersic Cinema, Victoria Cinema, Casa TIFF, and Cinema City movie theaters in Iulius Mall and Polus Center shopping centers.

Ashby, a comedy-drama directed and written by Tony McNamara, will open the event. The film will be screened on October 16, 19:00, at Florin Piersic Cinema.
