Bogdan Ion (in picture) will be the new country leader of Ernst & Young Romania and Moldova from June 1, according to the company. He replaces Camelia Horlaci who will continue with Ernst & Young Romania as a senior partner, focusing on EU funded projects.

Bogdan Ion has 15 years of professional experience in audit, transaction services and financial consulting. He coordinated projects in sectors such as power and utilities, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and retail, for multinational companies as well as for local entrepreneurial businesses.

Ernst & Young has approximately 141,000 employees in 700 offices across 140 countries. In 2010, the company registered revenues of around USD 21.3 billion.

In Romania, the company entered on the market in 1992. Currently, Ernst & Young Romania and Moldova has offices in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara and Chisinau.
