Eric Faidy leaves management of Michelin Romania

Eric Faidy has stepped back from the position of board president of the tire manufacturer Michelin in Romania and the region.

Faidy, 54, will leave at the end of July due to “professional reasons,” reports local Ziarul Financiar. He will be replaced by Stéphane Roy de Lachaise.

Lachaise, 49, has been working for Michelin for six years. He is now steering and progress director for Europe.

French group Michelin started its activity in Romania in 2001. It now has three plants and a commercial network.

Michelin Romania had a turnover of EUR 467 million and a net profit of close to EUR 25 million, in 2014.
