Real estate developer Element Industrial announced on Friday, April 8, that it completed the first phase of the ELI Park 3 logistics project in the Buftea-Chitila area, close to Bucharest.

The new distribution centre, covering 18,500 sqm, is 90% leased to e-commerce, production and b2b retail tenants.

“We are convinced that the Buftea Chitila hub is the basis of the new pole on the logistics map of the Bucharest metropolitan area. Moreover, its dynamics will increase exponentially once the A0 - the new ring road of the Capital will be completed,” said Andrei Jerca, Managing Director, Element Industrial.

In addition to the investments in the Buftea-Chitila hub, Element Industrial has several ongoing projects in cities such as Bacau, Ploiesti and Braila. The company’s plan is to develop 500,000 square meters of logistics projects by the end of 2026.
