Developer gets EUR 25 mln from Raiffeisen Bank for Bucharest mall

The developer of the Veranda shopping center, located in the Obor area in Bucharest, has attracted funding of EUR 25.5 million from Raiffeisen Bank and Raiffeisen Bank International AG for finalizing the project.

The new mall requires a total investment of EUR 60 million. The company Prodplast Imobiliare, controlled by local investor Florin Pogonaru, is developing the mall that currently has an occupancy rate of 70%.

The project has a total leasable area of almost 30,000 sqm. Its main anchors are Carrefour and H&M. Besides that, it has over 100 stores, a restaurant area, a parking lot with 1,200 places and a vast green area of over 15,000 sqm.
