Bucharest City Tour bus line starts new season this weekend

Four double-decker buses will restart operation on the Bucharest City Tour tourist line in Romania’s capital on Friday, May 15.

The tourist line includes 14 stops and takes 50 minutes. The busses run between 10:00 and 21:00.

The tour starts in Presei Square and reaches the most import tourist attractions in Bucharest: the Village Museum, the Triumph Arch, Victoriei Square, Calea Victoriei, the Palace of the Parliament, Unirii Square, Universitatii Square, Romana Square, Victoriei Square, Charles de Gaulle Square and Kiseleff boulevard.

Tariffs remained the same as in previous years: RON 25 (EUR 5.6) per card for adults and RON 10 (EUR 2.25) per card for children aged between 7 and 14. Children under 7 accompanied by adults get a free ride. All cards are valid for 24 hours from the first validation and can be purchased from the bus.

Audio guides in English, Romanian, French and Italian, maps and information about tourist areas area are available on the bus, as well as free wireless internet.

The double-decker buses have been running on the Bucharest City Tour line for the last four years, for six months a year, between May 1 and October 1.
