Romania’s National Bank (BNR) wants to hire five Romanian experts who are currently working abroad, as part of the Brain Regain program. People can apply until October 20.

The BNR is looking for two economists for its macroeconomic forecast direction and two economists for the financial stability direction. It also wants to attract an expert for the banking resolution direction.

In order to apply, candidates need to speak English, hold the Romanian citizenship and have a job abroad. Each candidate can apply only for one office.

About 4 million Romanians moved abroad by the end of 2015, according to the World Bank. Brain regain is a relatively new concept, which is directly linked to the brain-drain concept.
