Blue Point, one of the most important Romanian companies providing call center services, will open in Buzau the second operational center outside Bucharest, where it plans to hire 50 people by the end of the year, the company announced on Tuesday, July 18.

The new center will provide services of tele-sales, customer support, infoline and technical support. The Buzau team will work for companies in the telecom sector, as well as for insurance firms.

The new office is located in downtown Buzau and covers 300 sqm. The investment needed to open the office was secured from the company’s profits and the associates’ funds. The company hasn’t mentioned the investment’s value, but it estimates that it can recover it in the next two years.

Blue Point was set up in 2007 and has a 100% Romanian capital. It started with five employees, and now has over 300 employees.
