Belgian trio Hooverphonic to perform again in Romania this summer

02 May 2011

Belgian trio Hooverphonic will return to Bucharest for a concert on June 10 at Fratelli Studios (62 Colonel Iosif Albu St.), to present their latest album “The Night Before” and the new singer of the band, Noemi Wolfs.

Hooverphonic is a Belgian rock-pop group, formed in 1995. Though early on categorized as a trip hop group, they quickly expanded their sound to the point where they could no longer be described as a lone genre, but rather alternative, electronica, electropop, rock and mixture of others.

The single "The Night Before", released late last year in October represented the first step with the current vocalist, Noemi Wolfs (listen to it below). The album with the same name was released in November and won the platinum in Belgium, the band's native country, shortly after launch. More about the band on their website.

Tickets for the band’s concert in Romania can be purchased for RON 110 and RON 180 from Germanos, Vodafone, Orange stores, Carturesti and Humanitas bookstores or on-line from www.eventim.ro and www.bestmusic.ro.
