Azamara Quest cruise ship brings foreign tourists to Romania’s Constanta port

16 June 2014

The Azamara Quest cruise ship recently made a stop in Romania’s Constanta port, and over 600 foreign tourists visited the seaside resort, reports local Digi24. Most of the tourists are Americans, British and Portuguese.

A cruise on this ship cost USD 1,800 per person, but tourists say the experience is worth all the money. The ship has nine decks, restaurants, pools, fitness and spa rooms, but also a library.

“This summer we have 106 ships scheduled, compared to 69 last year. So far, 11,000 tourists arrived in Constanta this year,” said Teodor Patrichi, administrator of the passenger terminal, cited by Digi24.

Azamara Quest’s next destination is Turkey.
