ZebraPay plans to install 1,000 instant payment terminals in Romania

ZebraPay, a cmpany which specializes in instant payments, plans to invest USD 3 million in installing 1,000 new terminal for such payments across Romania, the company has announced. ZebraPay has already installed 200 such terminals in various Romanian cities, placing them in hypermarkets, supermarkets, malls, gas stations, railway stations, hospitals and universities.

The company plans to achieve the biggest such network in Romania, according to Radu Ciorbea, the ZebraPay general manager.

The terminals allow payments to recharge prepaid cards of telecom operators Orange, Vodafone and Cosmote. The company plans to add utilities bills payments, as well as the possibility to buy train tickets, tickets to shows, as well as software licenses.
