Video shows to light up People’s Palace during iMapp Bucharest event this fall

13 July 2015

Video shows will light up Romania’s Palace of the Parliament (also known as the People’s Palace) during the second edition of iMapp Bucharest, one of the biggest video mapping events in the world. Check out a video of last year's edition below.

AVA (Mexico), Dirty Monitor (Belgium), Urbanscreen (Germany), RadugaDesign (Russia), Light Event Consulting (France), and Mindscape (Romania) will create six shows of 4 minutes and 30 seconds each on the Palace’s façade.

Earth, wind, fire, and water are the four primordial elements that compose the contest’s creative concept. Their generative impulse will transform Romania’s Palace of Parliament for this large video mapping show.

This year’s edition of iMapp Bucharest will be organized on September 19 and will also feature live performances of Parov Stelar and Suie Paparude. Also, a group of dancers will bring a special choreography on the stage. They will be dressed in fancy costumes that use neon bulbs.

iMapp is organized by the Bucharest City Hall, through Creart – the Center for Creation, Art, and Tradition. The admission to the event is free. Last year's event was part of the Bucharest 555 celebration.
