The European Aerobatic Championships brings over 50 pilots to Romania

The Deva airfield, located in Romania’s Transylvania region, will welcome over 50 pilots at the ninth edition of the European Advanced Aerobatic Championships to be organized this summer.

The contest, organized by the Romanian Aeroclub and the Romanian Aeronautical Federation, will take place between July 22 and August 2.

More than 50 pilots from Switzerland, Belarus, Italy, Lithuania, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Great Britain, Belgium, Russia, Poland, France, Ukraine, and Romania will compete for the European Champion title.

George Rotaru, Laszlo Ferencz, Andrei Serbu, Cristian Iorgov, and Dan Stefanescu will represent Romania in the competition. Romania ranked fifth in the previous edition of the Championships.
