Six companies ready to try Bucharest Stock Exchange’s new AeRO trading system, three are Polish

13 February 2015

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) recently presented the first six enterprises that plan to list on its alternative trading system AeRO that will officially launch on February 25. Three of the companies are Polish, one is German, and only two are Romanian, according to Ziarul Financiar.

The AeRO market is the equity segment of the BVB’s alternative trading system. It is a market segment designed for listing of early stage companies, start-ups and SMEs. Companies with a minimum size of EUR 250,000 will be able to access the platform to get financing.

The Polish investment fund Carpathia Capital, the IT group Bittnet Systems, and the local courier Sameday Courier have shown interest in listing their businesses on AeRO.

The Polish company Finance TNN, which operates the online foreign exchange platform Kantoronline, the Polish firm CT Services, which provides solutions for slippery floors and German website developer Cabanova are also among the candidates for AeRO listing.

Bucharest Stock Exchange regulates the AeRO market, which makes it easier for companies to list on this platform. Unlike AeRO, BVB's main market is regulated by the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) and has stricter rules for issuers.

Any company that plans a listing on the AeRO platform needs an authorised advisor, which will help it prepare the listing documents and promote it to investors. A total of 31 brokerage firms and consultancies have received BVB’s approval to act as authorised advisors.
