Romania’s public radio broadcaster ends 2013 on EUR 1.2 mln profit

The Romanian Radio Broadcasting Company (SRR) ended the 2013 financial year with a net profit of some RON 5.5 million (EUR 1.2 million) and total revenues of RON 410.5 million (EUR 93 million).

The company’s Council of Administration recently approved SRR’s financial statements for 2013. SRR had total expenses of around RON 403 million (EUR 91.3 million) last year.

The Romanian Radio Broadcasting Company currently owns Radio Romania Actualitati, Radio Romania International, Radio Romania Muzical, Radio Romania Cultural, Antena Satelor, Radio 3 Net, and several local and regional radio stations.
