Romania’s e-commerce market will reach this year about EUR 650 million. This will generate a significant growth in programming services, according to specialists, cited by local Agerpres.

Online research company iVox showed that about 74% of city adults own a smartphone, which fuels the e-commerce market’s growth.

It also shows that the number of smartphone users will grow by about 85% in the next period, which will increase the volume of online sales.

Romanians currently buy online home decorations and furniture (28%), cosmetics (19%) or clothing (19%).
