The Romanian Ministry of Transport has budgeted 531 km of highway for next year, according to Minister Anca Boagiu, quoted by Agerpres. She added that the Ministry has a draft budget for 2012, but has also one for the next years until 2015.

“In 2012 we have budgeted all the kilometers that are in execution, the 276 km that are to be financed and the 183 km that will go  into execution, while the next step is to launch the amount we have saved from previous contracts for another 72 km,” said the Romanian ministry of Transport.

Anca Boagiu added that money were asked from the Ministry of Finance for the existing projects, but the essential for the Ministry of Transport is "to have money for co-financing the European funding to come in the near future”, according to Agerpres.
