Romanian regulator hires firm to evaluate mandatory car insurance fees
Romania’s Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) has hired consulting firm Milliman to provide it with actuarial analysis on the prices local insurers charge for mandatory car insurance policies.
The value of the contract amounts to over RON 112,000 (EUR 25,000), according to the electronic public auction website e-licitatie.ro. The press release fails to mention the duration and the value of the contract.
The ASF institution also has an internal department specialized in these services, namely a unit of actuarial service and market analysis.
