Pictures of several representative Romanian buildings, including the famous Peles Castle in Sinaia and of the Bellu Mansion (in photo) in Urlati will be on display at an exhibition opening in the beginning of December in Venice.

Organized by ICR and scheduled to start on December 5, the exhibition, called “The architectural patrimony of the Prahova county” will mark the celebration of Romania's National Day, which takes place four days earlier, on December 1.

This will be part of a bigger project aiming at promoting architectural value in the Prahova Valley and boosting tourism in the area, according to ICR. Among the other buildings presented in the exhibition there will be the Hagi Prodan and Ghiţă Ionescu houses in Ploiesti, the Nicolae Iorga memorial complex in Vălenii de Munte, the Zamora castle in Busteni, the former Brebu monastery, among others.

The exhibition will be open until December 15 in the New Gallery of IRCCU Venice, where the entry will be free of charge.
