The Romanian operational leasing market increased by 12.3 percent in the first half of the year, compared to the same period in 2013, exceeding 45,000 units, according to data by the Association of Operational Leasing companies (ASLO), cited by Agerpres.

Around 5,400 new cars were registered in the first six months by operational leasing firms, representing over 15 percent of all registrations of cars and small commercial vehicles.

ASLO expects the total operational leasing market to reach 47,000 units by the end of 2014.
