Romanian high school graduates facing Baccalaureate exam starting this week

Over 340,000 high school graduates will take the Baccalaureate exam starting this week in Romania, and ending at the beginning of July.

12th graders will take tests in Romanian language – oral and written, maternal language for those of differing ethnicity, a modern foreign language, digital skills, a mandatory subject from the student's class profile, plus a subject of their choice. Final results will be announced mid-July.

All examination rooms across Romania will have video surveillance, according to the law. Last year, only 45.7 percent of high school graduates passed their final exam.
