Over 14,000 tourists from the Republic of Moldova came to Romania in the first half of the year, 6.6 percent more than in the same period in 2013, according to the Department for SMEs and Tourism.

In order to keep this growing trend, the Department for SMEs, Business Environment and Tourism plans to increase promotion for Romania as a holiday destination for tourists from the Republic of Moldova.
