Retailer Billa revamps store in Romania with EUR 1 million

Retailer Billa Romania has revamped one store located in the Romanian city of Iasi, with an investment of over EUR 1 million, according to the company. Works on the store took three months to be completed.

The new concept brings a fresh products area 70 percent bigger than before, and will be available to clients starting September 8.

Billa Romania is part of Austrian group Rewe International, which runs 3,600 stores worldwide. The first Billa supermarket in Romania opened in 1999. The retailer owns the Clever brand and currently runs 55 stores across Romania.
