Private postal services operator PostMaster, part of the Austrian Post group, could enter the courier market in the future.

Wolfgang Einer, Senior Vice President CEE Mail with Austrian Post and main shareholder of PostMaster, said that he can’t present the company’s exact plan, but added that if opportunities for such an investment arose in the next two years, he wouldn’t exclude it, reports local Economica.net.

PostMaster currently offers addressed and unaddressed postal services on the local market, covering 95% of the population. The addressed postal services have a 45% share in the business.

PostMaster has a 6% share of the addressed mail market, and it targets a 9% share for this year.
