Polish ABC Data opens distribution unit in Oradea, two months after Romanian market entry

ABC Data Romania, the local subsidiary of the Polish IT distributor with operations in Central and Eastern Europe, recently opened a distribution point in Oradea, north-west Romania, two months after the company entered the local market.

Thus, the products will be delivered to the company’s local partners within 24 hours since these enter the country, reads a statement of the company.

‘The warehouses in Poland, located in Warsaw and Sosnowiec, currently ensure merchandise for all the nine companies in the group, in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Romania and Germany. In addition, the products in our portfolio are also distributed in other 21 countries through our export department, depending on the agreements signed with the manufacturers,” said Sergiu Lujanschi, general manager ABC Data Romania.

The products’ transport is done from Monday to Saturday, between the warehouses in Poland and the headquarters of the local partners. They are delivered to the clients in two or three days, depending on the warehouse they came from.

“The deliveries are collected in Oradea and from there they are sent to our partners located in all geographic regions, reaching their destination within 24 hours, whether we are talking about Oradea, Timisoara, Cluj, Iasi, Constanta or Bucharest," said Alexandru Gheorghiu, commercial manager ABC Data Romania.

The company also plans to establish a warehouse in Romania, according to the statement.
